Authorities are now identifying an Oxnard man who died three days after being shot, and more details are being released about the incident.
29 year old Gabriel Madrigal was a passenger in a car Friday afternoon which was near the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, on Hobson Way, when he was hit by a gunshot. He was driven to a clinic, which sent him to a hospital.
Madrigal was taken off of life support just before 3 p.m. Monday, and he died about two hours later. Police aren’t saying what they think led to the shooting.
