Four Arrested For Home Invasion Robbery In Ventura County

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department gang investigators have arrested four people in connection with a home invasion robbery, during which a man was bound with packing tape.

The robbery occured December 15th, on the 6800 block of Zelzah Avenue in La Conchita.  Investigators say three men knocked on the door of a home, and when a man answered, they forced their way in, and threatened him with with knifes.  They ransacked the house, taking a number of items including the victim’s credit cards.  They bound the man with packing tape.  He was uninjured, and eventually freed himself.

One of the stolen credit cards was used at a Ventura gas station, and investigators say they were then able to identify Henry Aguilar of Carpinteria as one of the home invasion robbery suspects. They say it led them to three other suspects  in connection with the crime, and who arrested at a home on the 200 block of Dos Caminos in Ventura.  The charges include kidnapping, armed robbery, and burglary.  One of the four arrested for the home invasion robbery was a 15 year old boy.
