Oxnard Police aren’t talking about what they are calling the suspicious death of a man who was found injured in the backyard of a home on the 3100 block of Paula Street.
Police, and paramedics were called to the scene at around 8 p.m. Saturday. First aid was administered, but Hector Ponce was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital a short time later. An autopsy was conducted, but details haven’t been released pending toxicology test results.
