Academy Award winning director, writer, and producer Martin Scorsese is going to be honored by the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
The Festival will present the acclaimed filmmaker with its “American Riviera Award”.
The Hollywood icon directed classics like Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Casino, and The Departed, and this year had the animated movie Hugo, and a documentary about the late Beatle George Harrison.
Scorsese will receive the award on Monday, January 30th as part of the 27th annual Film Festival.
