Simi Valley Police Officer Revives Infant Which Had Stopped Breathing

A Simi Valley Police officer is being credited with saving the life of a baby who had stopped breathing.

Officer Steve Jennings was on routine patrol just before noon today on the 2500 block of Sycamore Drive, why a hysterical couple stopped their vehicle, and flagged him to stop.

The woman handed him her seven month old child, who wasn’t breathing.

He called for help, and started CPR on the baby.

The infant started breathing, and was taken by ambulance to Simi Valley Hospital.

There’s no word on why the baby had stopped breathing.
