Ventura Fire Department investigators say an electrical blaze in a ceiling fixture started an early morning condominium fire which threatened the entire complex.
The blaze was discovered around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, on the 4900 block of Thille Street. Ventura firefighters arrived to find smoke, and flames in the third story unit, but they were able to contain it before it spread.
No one was home in the unit at the time of the fire. Damage is estimated at more than $100,000.
