A 33-year-old man is recovering from back, and facial injuries after he crashed his paraglider on a rugged Ventura hillside, and had to be rescued by helicopter.
It happened on Vince Street, in the Grant Park are of the Ventura foothills. After the paraglider crashed Friday afternoon, a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department helicopter lowered a paramedic to help the injured man, who was then airlifted to a hospital.
