A terminally ill man’s last wish is going to come true in Santa Barbara, even though he didn’t live to be a part of it. The man became an artist in the last years of his life, and wanted to have an exhibition to show his work to the community.
Some non-profit groups, volunteers, and a Santa Barbara store are making it happen today. KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story.
The exhibition debuts from 5-8 p.m. 12/1, and runs through the holidays at 33 Jewels at El Paseo, which is at 814 State Street, in Downtown Santa Barbara.
The Cancer Center of Santa Barbara is also holding a special art exhibition, called “Art Heals”. It will take place from 4:30-6:30 Friday 12/2, at the Cancer Center. Click on the link for more details: www.ccsb.org/calendar/view/221/2011/12/2/
