A Santa Barbara County based relief agency is sending additional aid to areas of Missouri, and Illinois hit hard by tornadoes, and storms earlier this year.
Direct Relief International will provide five clinics and medical centers with more than $250,000 in grants to help them continue to provide help to low-income area residents, and to help better prepare two of the medical facilities for future emergencies. Earlier this year, DRI provided $3.8 million dollars in aid to 40 clinics in 14 states afffected by severe storms.
