With more than 22,000 new children ending up in foster care in California annually, it’s a constant struggle to find temporary, and permanent homes for these kids removed because of unsafe living conditions. KCLU’s Lance Orozco was on hand in El Rio, as a Ventura County courtroom opened its doors to the public, and the media, to showcase the adotion process, and the need for more prospective parents to step forward.
