A Montecito man who was a pioneer in the money management field, and was well known for his charitable work has died. Jon Lovelace ran the Capital Group Companies, one of the world’s largest money management businesses.
Lovelace was also well known for work in the arts, health, science, and education worlds, among many things chairing the Getty Trust, as well as serving as Chairman of the Board for California Institute Of The Arts.
Lovelace died following a long illness. He was 84 years old.
