More thantwo dozen vision care related professionals in Santa Barbara County are teaming up this weekend, to provide some sight restoring surgeries for low income, or fixed income people without health insurance.
The nearly two dozen surgeries for things like cataracts will be performed as a part of the non profit group SEE International’s Santa Barbara Vision Care Program.
Since it was founded in 1974, the Santa Barbara based group has completed more than 400,000 free vision surgeries worldwide.
The marathon series of procedures will be performed at the Santa Barbara Surgery Center tomorrow.
