Santa Barbara fire investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a fire which left one person dead, and a second seriously injured.
The fire was reported at about 8 last night (11/17), on Quarantina Street, near Carpinteria Street.
The blaze was in a fenced storage area.
Arriving firefighters, and police found a man with serious burns, who was taken to a Santa Barbara hospital, and then later transported to a burn center in the Los Angeles area.
After firefighters put out the blaze, they discovered the body of a dead woman.
She still hasn’t been identified, pending notification of family members.
