Efforts to save the decimated Southern California Steelhead population in Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties in our region have generated some controversy, because of proposals to limit, or ban fishing on some of the region’s waterways. KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports the State Fish And Game Commission, meeting in Santa Barbara, looked at the issue, and that a compromise effort to develop a plan has been reached.
