Someone threw two “Molotov Cocktails” at the Isla Vista Foot Patrol’s headquarters in Isla Vista, damaging the outside of the building, and a patrol car.
The attack occured around 7:45 last night (11/15). A witness reported seeing a person in dressed in black may the attack, and then run away on foot. One of the homemade incendiary devices hit a old prescription drug drop-off box outside of the building, causing some damage to the box, and the building’s wall. Firefighters quickly put out the small blaze. The other device hit a patrol car’s windshield, shattering it, but not causing any fire damage.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department is looking for more witnesses, to try to help in identifying a suspect.
