A 29-year-old Ventura County man has been convicted of first degree murder for killing his girlfriend.
Valerie Ankerstrom was killed when she went to visit Jonathan Aaron of Port Huenerme, to end their year long relationship. He stabbed the woman to death.
Aaron faces a 29 years to life in prison when he’s sentenced next month for the October, 2009 killing.
Aaron was also convicred of having a sexual relationship with a minor.
