Autopsy On Thousand Oaks High School Football Player Who Died Over The Weekend Inconclusive

Posted on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 5:36am

An autopsy has failed to show a clear cut cause of death for a Thousand Oaks High School football player.

Griffen Kramer was found dead Sunday morning in bed at the home of a friend in Agoura Hills.  The 18-year-old had spent the night at the home, and efforts to wake him up, or revive him were unsuccessful.

Officials with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office say it could take several weeks to get the results of toxicology tests back.

He was a backup quarterback at Thousand Oaks High School.  Kramer was the son of Erik Kramer, an NFL quarterback who played in the late 1980′s, to late 1990′s for Detroit, and Chicago.
