Thousand Oaks High School Shaken By Death Of Member Of Football Team

Posted on Monday, October 31, 2011 3:54pm

It was a difficult day for students at a Ventura County high school, as they learned that a member of the high school’s football team died over the weekend.

Griffen Kramer was found dead Sunday morning (10/30) at the home of a friend in Agoura Hills, where he’d stayed overnight.

The 18-year-old was one of the quarterbacks on the Thousand Oaks High School football team, and was the son of NFL quarterback Erik Kramer, who played pro ball for more than a decade, from the late 1980’s to the late 1990’s.  Kramer was the team’s number two quarterback.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office is conducting an autopsy to try to determine the cause of death.
