The City Of Oxnard, and Southern California Edison reached a settlement in their long battle over the utility’s efforts to build an additional power plant in the city, a small facility known as a “peaker plant”.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports that the city has decided that more legal challenges would be a waste of money, and have cleared the way for the start of work on the new facility.
