Oxnard police are investigating their second murder in less than a week in the city.
19-year-old Sergio Arroyo was shot and stabbed just before 9 Wednesday, on the 45-hundred block of Terrace Avenue.
The Oxnard man died at a hospital Thursday morning. Arroyo was outside, in the neighborhood at the time of the shooting.
There’s no word on a possible motive, but he was seen arguing with two men shortly before he was attacked. No arrests have been made in the killing.
On Sunday, the body of a woman who had been murdered was found in her Ventura Road apartment.
No arrests have been made in that killing as well.
