It sounds like the plot of a Hollywood movie. Researchers are using a special sub to explore the nearly 70 year old wreckage of a ship torpedoed, and sunk off the Central Coast during World War II, to see if could potentially spill millions of gallions of oil, and create an environmental disaster. KCLU’s Lance Orozco looks at at the project, and talks with the only still living survivor of the sinking.
