Hundreds of marchers upset with Wall Street, and the government continued their protests in Santa Barbara over the weekend. On Saturday, protestors targetted some banks on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara, chanting and carrying signs.
The “Occupy Santa Barbara” protest was peaceful, but the crowd was so large it disrupted traffic in the downtown area. The demonstration was another local version of massive protests which have been taking place around the country, especially on Wall Street, in New York City.
