Biologists are stunned by the recent deaths of two mountain lions in Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties they’ve been studying for years, including one killed by poachers. KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports they were key parts of research on mountain lions living in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
