Posted on Friday, September 30, 2011 5:27pm

A South Coast University is preparing for the first nighttime home football game in the team’s nearly 50 year history.  California Lutheran University’s Kingsmen will host University of Redlands in the first game in CLU’s new William Rolland Stadium Saturday night (10/1).

The game is a big one for another reason, with both teams ranked in the top 20 in Division Three NCAA Football.  Redlands is ranked 13th, and CLU 20th.  Kickoff is at 7:05, and tickets are free.  (CLU is the parent of KCLU).
