A Kern County man is being identified as the victim of a fatal accident in a Ventura County oil field.
Oscar Zamudio of Bakersfield was working in a field outside of Ventura, near Manuel Canyon Road around 5 last night (9/26) when the accident occurred.
A team was working on an oil rig when a beam fell, pinning, and fatally injuring the 34 year old man. Zamudio was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
