Simi Valley Police Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Man Called LSD, Illegal Mushroom Dealer

Posted on Monday, September 26, 2011 4:31pm

Simi Valley Police say a four month long investigation has led to the arrest of an Oregon man who was an LSD, and illegal mushroom dealer in Southern California.

Detectives say they first ran across Alfredo Iniguez of Eugene, Oregon in May, and launched a joint investigation with Eugene Police.  Investigators say the 29 year old man travelled to Southern California two or three times a month, selling mushrooms, and liquid LSD until his supplies were exhausted.

Simi Valley Police arrested Iniguez at a Van Nuys motel on Thursday, confiscating 12 pounds of mushrooms, and $18,000 in cash.  Eugene police say a search of the man’s home turned up 58 jars of mushroom planting material, and 15 vials of liquid LSD.
