A San Fernando Valley man has been identified as the victim of a fatal trench collapse in Ventura County.
Antonio Mejia was working at a home on the 44000 block of the Pacific Coast Highway, near the Ventura-Los Angeles County line Sunday afternoon (9/18) when the trench apparently collapsed on the contractor.
An autopsy is pending on the 48-year-old Canoga Park man to determine the exact cause of death.
