A checkup sweep on dozens of sex offenders in Ventura County led to the discovery of seven unaccounted for parolees, and two arrests.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department conducted 51 compliance checks. Investigators will follow up to see if they can locate the seven offenders who wern’t at home when the spot inspections were made. The two arrests were for other offenses.
