A Camarillo based solar panel maker announced it will shift its manufacturing operations from Ventura County to Oregon, and lay off more than half of its 300 workers.
SolarWorld Industries America will keep its marketing and sales operations in Ventura County, but more than 180 employees have been told they will lose their jobs. The layoffs will occur by the end of October.
