Producers of the hit CBS Television reality show “The Amazing Race” say the cast of the latest edition of the show includes a Thousand Oaks man who was the youngest person to sail solo around the world.
Zac Sunderland was just 17 when he made his 13 month long global trek. For the TV show, the now 19 year old man will be joined by his father, Lawrence Sunderland, as one of the 11 teams in this fall’s competition. Other competitors include two Olympic snowboarders, a former NFL player, and two past winners of the TV show “Survivor”. The show premieres September 25th.
