Santa Barbara County Based Non-Profit Helped Health Care Agencies In South Prepare For Hurricane Irene

A Santa Barbara County based relief agency helped prepare some health care agencies in the southern U.S. prepare for Hurricane Irene. 

Direct Relief International says its 17 hurricane preparation packs to the region.  The packages contained enought medicine, and emergency medical supplies to help 100 people for three to five days.  The kits went to 17 medical agencies in eight states.
