CVS Pharmacy will pay more than two million dollars to settle a lawsuit over allegations it overcharged customers, and was involved in misleading advertising.
In a settlment with prosecutors in Ventura, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties, the drugstore agreed to settle the charges without admitting wrongdoing. A lawsuit alleged the company had been charging customers more than advertised sale prices for some merchandise as well as following through on advertised discounts.
