Two California Youth Authority inmates from Ventura County who escaped while on a work detail in the Studio City area have been recaptured.
Pablo Ontaneda and Christopher Ochoa walked away from a brush clearing work detail near the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, and Mullholland Drive around 2:30 last Friday. They were captured at a Riverside County home by a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation fugitive apprehension team. The two young man had been at the CYA facility in Camarillo as a result of robbery, and other charges.
