A teenager is recovering from gunshot wounds he suffered after being attacked in a Ventura drive-by shooting.
Police say the 15-year-old boy had just been dropped off on the 6300 block of Nightingale Street by his girlfriend’s mother, and was walking home around 9:45 p.m. Sunday when a vehicle pulled up, and a volley of shots was fired. The teen was hit twice. Detectives say the wounds wern’t life threatening, and the teen is expected to recover. They believe the shooting was gang-related, and call the act cowardly.
