The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a person whose body was found on San Marcos Pass.
A passerby spotted the body around 1:30 Sunday, off of East Camino Cielo Road, in the Painted Cave area. Department officials are calling the death suspicious, but aren’t releasing any details, including the gender of the person.
