The St. Francis Foundation of Santa Barbara awarded some $709,000 in grants to 15 organizations, and programs providing health care, and other social service programs in Santa Barbara County.
The programs funded range from nursing outreach efforts, to scholarships for new nurses in training at Santa Barbara City College. The foundation awarded nearly $1.2 million dollars in two grant cycles during the just completed fiscal year.
