Unemployment climbed in both Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties in June. Ventura County’s rate went from 9.5% in May, to 10.3% last month. Santa Barbara County’s unemployment rate also increased, rising from 8.1% to 8.9%. California’s statewide unemployment rate also showed a slight month to month increase, from 11.7% to 11.8%
