Two adults, and two teens have been arrested for a vandalism spree in Carpinteria which left 16 vehicles damaged.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies say vandals targeted vehicles parked in a lot near the Venoco Pier in Carpinteria late Monday night. Rocks, full beer cans, and a chain were used to break windshields, smash hoods, and dent roofs. The total damage could hit $30,000. Most of the vehicles also appeared to have been burglarized.
Detectives arrested 19-year-old Logan Michael Fraley, and 19-year-old Robert Jameson Thornton for burglary, vandalism, and receiving stolen property. A 17-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old boy were also arrested in connection with the vandalism, and burglary spree.
