It’s being called the largest marijuana bust in Ventura County history. More than 68,000 marijuana plants have been seized from the north slope of Pine Mountain, north of Ojai. A half dozen agencies were involved in the raids on a series of marijuana patches which have an estimated street value of 205 million dollars. No one was arrested, but authorities discovered several campsites, hundreds of pounds of equipment, and some weapons. The growers had created a sophisticated irrigation system for the plants, with hundreds of feet of irrigation hose.
