Prince William Scores Big In Santa Barbara County Visit

Prince William scored four goals in a star studded charity polo match in Santa Barbara County, which was one of the highlights of the royal newlyweds visit to California.

Williams led his team to a 5-3 win in Saturday afternoon’s event at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club in Carpinteria.

Governor Jerry Brown, Rob Lowe, and Jennifer Love Hewett were among the celebrities on hand for the event, which raised money for a new charity named after Prince William, and his brother, Prince Harry.  Princess Catherine  handed out the winner’s cup at the end of the match, before the royal couple headed back to the Los Angeles area, for an event in Hollywood.  Prince William kissed his new wife after receiving the cup. after the crowd called for him to kiss her.
