“Colombo” Star Peter Falk Dies: A Look At His Career

Actor Peter Falk passed away on Friday at his Beverly Hills Home.  The five time Emmy award winner was best known for his role as television’s absent minded detective Colombo, but he also received two Academy Award nominations for “Murder, Inc.” and “Pocketful Of Miracles”.  Falk had been battling Alzheimer’s disease.  He was 83.

In 2007, Falk visited Santa Barbara to take part in a charity event, and talk about his book “Just One More Thing: Stories From My Life”.  KCLU’s Lance Orozco talked with Falk about his career.
