Oxnard police say an early morning robbery of a North Vineyard Avenue restaurant on Wednesday morning marks the fifth restaurant robbery in the area in the last three months. No one was hurt in the 3:30 a.m. robbery of Du-par’s Restaurant, on the 2000 block of North Vineyard Avenue. It’s the second time the Du-Par’s has been robbed in the last ten days. Oxnard police say at least some of the robberies were committed by a white male who is approximately 35 years old, wearing a grey and black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans, with a black handgun. Police are asking for the public’s help in spotting suspicious people, or vehicles loitering in the area.
