Ojai’s half century old Libbey Bowl had deterioriated to the point that repairs were no longer an option, and there was the possibility it might be condemned. A community wide fundraising drive raised more than three million dollars to totally gut, and rebuild the performing arts complex, and this weekend (6/4-6-5), the new Libbey Bowl hosts its opening events.
