Crime survivor becomes nationally known advocate for crime victims rights

He was just a teenager when two men he was trying to help murdered his parents, and shot him and his sister. Brooks Douglass and his sister survived, and he’s become a leading crime victims rights advocate. KCLU’s Lance Orozco talks with Douglass, who’s speaking in Ventura County at two events this week.
